San Gabriel Valley
The area serviced by members of the Arcadia Association
of REALTORS® covers virtually the entire San Gabriel
Valley. It lies at the center of an area of over 1.7
million people, over 6 million jobs, and a total personal
income in access of 375 billion. The San Gabriel Valley
is a region of unsurpassed beauty lying at the foot
of the San Gabriel Mountains.
From the quaint village feeling of Sierra Madre to
the stately avenues of San Marino, and from the bustling
commercialism of Pasadena to the quiet streets of Arcadia,
the northwest San Gabriel Valley is truly a diverse
and wonderful area to live and work.
This northwestern area is one of the most mature areas
of the San Gabriel Valley, and one of the most popular.
The region is distinguished by attractive mid-range
and high-end housing, including some executive and estate
communities.
The City of Arcadia is known as the "Community
of Homes." The city features gracious tree-lined
streets complemented by excellent shopping facilities
and friendly neighbors, fine schools, caring churches
and an abundance of green space. Recreational opportunities
range from a picnic in the park to a wilderness hike
in the foothills.
